What a concept! The first time I used this, it was mediocre in results, but I figured I might not have followed the instructions to the T. The second use, it worked beautifly and the nasty mosquitos were gone!
The key to proper use is the concept of dusk and what happens to a smoke/fog at this time. As dusk occurs, the air pressure changes accordingly and if no hard wind is blowing, the killing fog will head downward, flooding the vegitation that mosquitos will hide in. You get the hang of how the thing heats and produces the fog by timing your squeezing of the trigger for not too long and soon the fog will shoot out the tube about 6 or more feet. Wait for that to complete and repeat the process. I found you can get another 3-5 minutes of fog once you unplug it as the heating element is still hot, so you can go outside your wiring constraint to ensure a good safety zone.
Just keep in mind practice makes perfect and use the trigger sparingly until you get the hand of it.
This unit is perfect for my small backyard, It is ready to use after 2 or 3 min. warmup. It fogs very well and covers a large area in a short time. I am not too happy with the chemical fogger that comes with this device. It doesn't seem to kill the mosquittos even though I spray directly on the area where they are hiding, if I disturb them they swarm all around. I will purchase a different brand chemical when this one rus out to see if that is the reason.
