I bought this product thinking that solar power would be enough to kill the bugs and help me save on the electric bill, BIG mistake. The box comes w/ two very cute lights but only one of them worked. AND no matter how long I left them out to charge there was never enough power for them to stay lit at night or to kill the bugs around my home. I live out in Central California where we have mosquitos and all kinds of flying insects at night and day time is sunlight from 6:30 am to 9 pm. My brother's electric bug light was better than this. Will never buy another solarized item until the technology gets better. Big disappointment and an embarrassment.
We bought this when our now 5 month old was born so that he could join us in our garage and enjoy the few nice days we have in the pacific northwest. I love it I don't have to worry about my older kids playing with the plug or triping over any cords. It works wonderful even in this cloudy environment.
