I have both the Burgess and the Black Flag models of the fogger. I fog the patio before people are going to come over or before we have dinner on the patio in the evening. It works great. You have to wait while the coil heats up after lighting both models and then, the fog starts. Shoot the fog away from you in a sweeping motion and it creates a "bug barrier". Patio life is basically bug free! Use the fogger on a regular basis and you will break the life cycle of the insects you are trying to keep away.
It would be nice if the smell was more like lemons or citrus. It would be more pleasing to spray. Also, there might be a nice lingering scent after the fog settles if it were lemon. Also, lemon grass is a natural repellent so, you would have the best of both worlds with a chemical and natural compound both being used at the same time.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS. I do like the Burgess model better than the Black Flag but, the Blag Flag does have an electric start which is nicer than using a lighter to light the Burgess.
This fogger is in keeping with the quality I have come to appreciate in all of Black Flag products. I already had an electric fogger, which I have given to my son, but like the freedom of movement afforded by this gasoline model.
