Had great hopes for this device. Turned it on and the bulbs that were provided burned out after 2 days which is not very good given the fact that they tell you to turn on the device and leave it on all summer. Had to order back up bulbs and they have lasted almost 3 weeks now. The problem I am having is that this product does not seem to catch mosquitoes. When I check the basket below I have lost of moths and other bugs but no mosquitoes. It has a black light, fan, and supposedly provides warmth to attract the mosquitoes but it does not seem to attract them. It is quiet and does not have the irritating zapping sound of other models, but I am not seeing the amount of bugs I expected.
The device appears to be working as promised; but as other reviewers have noted, you also catch a lot of moths and other insects. When I received the package, the stand on which the device can sit if you do not wish to hang it, was filthy and missing paint in large splotches. I called the company; they sent me a new one; and I returned the defective part. However, they would not reimburse me the less-than-$10 UPS fee for mailing back the stand. It was their defective part, and a company that won't completely correct their own mistake is one you should think twice about dealing with.
